Dr. Alamjit Gill brings a steady, evidence-based approach to adult medicine — emphasizing prevention, patient education, and the kind of unhurried conversation that has become rare in modern healthcare.
Established in 1995, Ridgewood Primary Care has been the neighborhood clinic for families across the village and Bergen County — from grandparents to grandchildren. The practice has grown alongside its patients, but the commitment hasn't changed: time with your physician, honest answers, and care that fits your life.
Visits are scheduled to allow real conversation — not a five-minute hand-off. We get to know your history, your goals, and what's getting in the way.
Treatment plans grounded in the latest guidelines — for everything from blood pressure to opioid recovery to weight management.
Whether you're managing diabetes or beginning recovery, you'll find a practice that treats you with respect, privacy, and discretion.

Yes. All Suboxone and buprenorphine treatment is provided in a private primary care setting — no separate clinic, no waiting-room signage. Records are protected by both HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, the federal rule that gives substance use treatment additional confidentiality protections beyond standard medical records.
Yes. Telemedicine visits are available for established patients for follow-ups, prescription refills, and chronic care management. Initial new-patient visits are typically in person so we can complete a full physical and lab workup.

Yes — we provide school physicals, sports physicals, camp physicals, DOT (commercial driver) exams, and pre-employment physicals. Routine physicals are typically completed in a single visit; walk-ins are welcome for standard forms during business hours.
Yes — when clinically appropriate. As part of a comprehensive medical weight-loss plan, we evaluate patients for modern medications including GLP-1 receptor agonists (semaglutide / Wegovy, tirzepatide / Zepbound). Treatment decisions are based on labs, medical history, and an honest conversation about your goals.
Vivitrol is a once-monthly intramuscular injection of extended-release naltrexone, FDA-approved for the treatment of alcohol use disorder and the prevention of relapse to opioid dependence. Patients receive the injection in-office every four weeks, alongside primary care support. Because it's monthly rather than daily, it removes the everyday decision around medication adherence.
Yes — walk-ins are welcome during regular hours (Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM), and same-day appointments are often available for both established and new patients. For complex visits or specific services like Suboxone induction or Vivitrol injections, calling ahead helps reduce wait time. Call (201) 689-1900.
